Community Clean Team is San Francisco Public Works’ longest-running and largest volunteer program that keeps San Francisco beautiful through landscaping and gardening projects, graffiti removal and litter cleanup in our neighborhoods. Community Clean Team, in partnership with the Giant Sweep anti-litter campaign, needs your help to keep our city clean and green in 2018. Join them and volunteer!
Upcoming event: January 20 – District 3 at Portsmouth Square, 733 Kearny St. – Register Here!
We are hoping your group would like to get involved in this upcoming event, and volunteer on January 20th to help us improve our general District 3 neighborhoods!
Please RVSP by Monday, January 15th by emailing [email protected] or calling 415-641-2600. They will need to know how many people are in your group, and if anyone has dietary restrictions so they can plan lunch accordingly.
In addition to the Community Clean Team event, Public Works will also be hosting a Gigantic 3 (G3) recycling event!
This is a great opportunity to do household cleaning! District 3 & District 6 residents have a great chance to remove unwanted clutter around the home with the reassurance that the castoffs will be recycled, refurbished or disposed of properly and work towards the City’s goal of zero waste by 2020!
The Gigantic 3 Recycling event will take place in District 3 & District 6 on Saturday, January 20th, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Co-hosted by San Francisco Public Works, SF Clean City Coalition and Recology, residents can drop off bulky items for landfill, recycling and composting at a site close to their home.
Even if you can’t make it for that event, please email [email protected] and get involved!
