Dear Lower Polk Community,
Our sibling organization, the Lower Polk Tenant Landlord Clinic, has been working hard to keep people stably housed during the COVID-19 pandemic. And they wanted to share some new and updated City resources with you (click on the links to be taken to those resources):
- The City has updated updated “Rules and Regulations for Tenants and Landlords” to reflect Mayor Breed’s August 25 Order and enactment of AB-3088.
- The City has also created a “Summary of Protections for Residential Tenants in San Francisco” that summarizes local, state, and federal protections. This is a very good document, and we recommend that people review it.
- With respect to emergency tenant protections, please visit thie City website to learn more and check back regularly for updates, including forthcoming translations in multiple languages.
- Finally, the City’s “get housing help” web page features the emergency tenant protections above, hotel guest protections, Give2SF Housing Stabilization Program, and many other resources.
Please contact the TLC at [email protected] if you have any questions or need help!
